Our Story
Seegart started in the world's largest hand-painted oil painting district — Dafen Village in Shenzhen, China. For three decades, this neighborhood has supplied galleries, hotels, and interior designers around the world with hand-painted canvases. We grew up inside that supply chain, painting for other brands. One day we asked: why don't we sell directly to the people who actually live with the paintings?
That's Seegart. We cut out the middleman. Every piece on this site is painted to order by a professional artist in our studio, photographed for your approval, and shipped directly to your door. You get gallery-quality hand-painted art without the gallery markup.
What we believe
No prints. No mass-produced posters. Every piece is 100% hand-painted by a real artist. Yes, it takes longer. Yes, it costs more to make. But when you stand in front of a real painting, you can feel it — the texture, the brushwork, the fact that someone stood there and put every layer of paint on the canvas by hand.
You see it before it ships. We don't hide the ball. When your piece is finished, we photograph it in natural light and send you preview photos. If the colors aren't right, if you want more texture, if you want a slightly different composition — we fix it before we ship. We won't send a piece you haven't approved.
Art should fit your room, not the other way around. Tell us your wall size, your sofa color, your lighting. We'll recommend the right size and the right palette. Who paints your piece
Our artists come from the classical academies and the Dafen studio tradition. Some trained in oil painting in Hangzhou or St. Petersburg; others grew up in the village itself, learning from their parents and grandparents. They are not anonymous hands — they are working painters with their own styles and their own careers. You can meet them on the Artist Team page.
Our promise
If your painting arrives damaged, or if it isn't what you expected, we make it right. Full refund or repaint, no questions asked. We've been doing this for a long time, and we'd rather lose one painting than lose a customer.
