Every piece at Seegart is hand-painted by one of the artists below. Each has their own studio, their own brush, and their own way of seeing the world. Aria Bennett — Abstract & Color Field Aria Bennett studied painting at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and spent a decade in Brooklyn's Williamsburg studio scene before joining Seegart. Her work is built around large, calm surfaces of layered pigment — quiet, architectural, and full of the kind of color that only reveals itself over time. She paints primarily in oil on linen, and her pieces tend to live in entryways and living rooms where a single piece sets the tone for the whole room. "I'm not interested in a painting that shouts. Kenji Sato — Wabi-Sabi & Textured Minimalism Kenji Sato grew up in Kyoto and trained in traditional Nihonga before moving into contemporary textured painting. His work sits at the intersection of Japanese wabi-sabi aesthetics and modern interior design — plaster-like surfaces, quiet asymmetry, and the patience of materials left to dry on their own. He paints slowly, in small layers, and refuses to rush a surface that isn't ready. "A wall doesn't need decoration. It needs something that has spent time becoming." Isabella Rossi — Landscapes & Impasto Isabella Rossi is based in Tuscany, where she paints the olive hills, cypress lines, and late-afternoon light of her region in thick, buttery impasto. Trained at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence, she is a plein-air painter first — her studio studies begin as quick oil sketches done outdoors and are then built up into larger canvases in the studio. Her pieces are the ones people describe as "warm" from across the room. "I paint the light first. Everything else is just where the light lands." Chloé Dubois — Modern Minimalist & Interior-Ready Chloé Dubois studied design at École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris and spent several years as an art director before returning to full-time painting. Her work is made for interiors — clean, balanced compositions in a restrained palette, built to sit quietly behind a sofa or above a sideboard without competing with the room. She works closely with interior designers, and her pieces are the ones that show up in styled hotel lobbies. "Good wall art doesn't fight the furniture. It agrees with it." Marcus Chen — 3D Texture & Abstract Flow Marcus Chen is a third-generation painter from Shenzhen. Trained at home in the Gongbi realist tradition, he gradually moved into large-scale, highly textured abstract work built from layers of modeling paste, acrylic, and gold leaf. His pieces are physically present — you can feel the ridges of the surface from across the room. He is the studio's most technically experimental painter and the artist behind most of our best-selling 3D textured series. "Texture is just time you can touch." Elena Petrov — Still Life & Figurative Elena Petrov trained at the Repin Academy in St. Petersburg before moving to work in our international studio network. Her still lifes and quiet figurative pieces are rooted in the Russian academic tradition — careful drawing, rich shadow, and an almost old-fashioned warmth. She is Seegart's most classically trained painter, and her pieces are the ones customers tend to keep for decades rather than rotate with trends.
